The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly financial statements, budget variance analysis, and cash flow projections.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, accounts, and transactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Coordinate with audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Stay current with accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements and optimize financial performance.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• More than 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the logistics industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting principles
