The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
1. One-point coordinator for Sea Import Operation.
2. Independently quoting for All Measure Term like (DDU, DDP, FOB, EXWORKS & DAP Term) inquiries to the agents.
3. Need to handle Import Manifestation process with Various Shipping line / Co-loader for all MBL + HBL shipment arrival at any ports in India.
4. Co-Ordination with Overseas Agents, Transporter, CHA’s and CFS’s for Arrivals and Arranging for the payments & for Pre-alerts
5. Open Job in Cargo-net & prepare Job File.
6. Complete Third Party CFS Movement for Nominated Container.
7. Responsible for complete end to end task upon receiving final pre-alert docs till final delivery of the cargo is made to the client.
8. Responsible for IGM filling in custom through the software.
9. Tracking each shipment starting from readiness till it reaches Destination Port.
10. Updating the client on vessels schedules or any other development to client.
11. Ensure to send ALL relevant Post Import documents to shipper / Overseas Agent within time & follow up for the payment after Credit Period completed as required.
12. Expert in Container Movement to CFS
13. Generating CAN copies after receiving SOP’s & sending the same to the client.
14. Coordination with Shipping line for Arrivals and Arranging for the Shipping line payment once the shipment has arrived.
15. Keep Customer/CHA/Clearance team for arrival status in time.
16. Releasing delivery order to the custom house agent.
17. Doing cost booking on E freight suite for billing & accounting purpose.
18. Update Cost Booking in Cargo net & send the same to accounts team for final cost booking.
19. Maintaining records for all the shipments & presenting DSR on daily basis to the management.
20. Internal coordination with accounts/customer service/sales/clearance team for day-to-day activity
21. Overlooking for payment requisitions of Liners//co-loaders to F&A DEPT and payment is once done to be shared with shipping line along with UTR # IN THE PREDEFINED format.
22. Preparation of remittance set in line with guidelines set by F&A to ensure agent remittance carried on smoothly.
23. Executing insurance coverage for shipments wherein there is specific request for coverage by import customers.
24. Perform any other duties as assigned by Management
25. Preparing export bl’s, releasing b/l’s from lines, preparing Shipping bills, dispatching documents, preparing Invoices
